Auditions are held in March in Wauwatosa, WI. Students must have studied with current teacher for at least 6 months. Teacher must be a member of MAPTA, shall have attended at least 1 of the previous 3 meetings and must volunteer at the audition.

Students compete in groups for Trophies
Music Quiz Bowl
This event is held in January at Mount Mary University for students of any piano teacher. There are four levels of oral competition and students compete in teams of three. Points are awarded for correct answers and winning team members receive trophies. Family members are welcome to attend and cheer for their student!

Students make a video of 2 pieces and earn a medal.

Teacher do not need to be members of MAPTA to participate. Open to more than just piano entries.
