MAPTA COMPOSITION TRACK

 

This event is open to MAPTA students at all levels and one piano composition may be entered in the audition year.  Ribbons are awarded to all entrants.  Compositions may be hand-written or computer generated and shall be accompanied by  a recording of the student performing the piece.  Each composition is judged on its own merits with a total of 25 points possible.  22-25 Points qualifies for performance at the Honors Recital.  A medal is earned when 42 points have been accumulated in this event.  The entry fee will be determined annually by the MAPTA Board.
